Everything the Unmanned Aircraft General test covers

Questions cover the FAA's five knowledge areas — regulations, airspace, weather, loading & performance, and operations. Mock exams follow the topic mix in the FAA/PSI test specifications effective September 2025.

⏱️

Timed mock exams

60 questions, a 2-hour clock, flag-for-review, and a 70% pass line — just like test day. See your score by topic afterward.

Official FAA figures

Sectional excerpts, METARs, TAFs, and the load-factor chart from the FAA testing supplement (FAA-CT-8080-2H), with pinch-to-zoom and figure quizzes.

👆

Tap-to-decode charts

Tap airspace labels, airport data blocks, obstacles, and MOAs — on our training chart and on the official FAA test sectionals — to see exactly what they mean.

FAQ

Questions

What is the Part 107 exam?

It's the FAA's Unmanned Aircraft General – Small (UAG) knowledge test: 60 scored multiple-choice questions (plus 5 unscored ones) in 2 hours, and you need 70% to pass. Passing it earns your Remote Pilot Certificate, which you need to fly drones for any non-recreational purpose in the U.S.

Are these the actual FAA test questions?

No — the FAA doesn't publish its live test bank. Our questions are written to match the FAA's Airman Certification Standards and the official question style. The chart and weather figures come from the FAA's testing supplement (FAA-CT-8080-2H). Starting October 26, 2026, the test also includes images from current sectional charts that aren't in that supplement — which is why the app teaches you to read any sectional, not just memorize figures.

How do I sign up for the real test?

Create an account in IACRA to get your FAA Tracking Number (FTN), then schedule the UAG test at a PSI testing center. After you pass, complete FAA Form 8710-13 in IACRA to receive your certificate.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. Questions, charts, flashcards, and mock exams work without a connection. Only the live METAR lookup needs internet.

What about my privacy?

No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your progress stays on your device and in your private iCloud. Read the privacy policy.
