Pasos

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Pasos respects your privacy. The app is designed to help you understand your activity without collecting or selling your personal health information.

Health and Motion Data

Pasos requests access to Apple Health step data and motion activity so it can display daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly step totals, update today's progress, calculate trends, and provide optional reminders.

Pasos does not sell, advertise against, or share your HealthKit or motion data with third parties. Pasos does not upload your health data to a developer-owned server.

Your step history remains managed by Apple Health. You can revoke access at any time in iPhone Settings under Health > Data Access & Devices > Pasos.

Notifications

If enabled, Pasos schedules local notifications on your device to provide optional pace reminders. Notification content is generated by the app and is not sent to a remote server.

iCloud and App Preferences

Your goal, reminder preferences, and appearance preference are stored locally and may be mirrored through Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store when iCloud is available. Pasos does not use iCloud to upload HealthKit step history.

Apple Watch and Widgets

Pasos may transfer a current step-progress snapshot between the iPhone app, Apple Watch app, widgets, and complications using Apple's app-group and Watch Connectivity APIs. This snapshot is used only to display your progress.

Data Retention and Deletion

Pasos does not maintain a separate server account or cloud database of your health history. Remove the app to remove its local preferences. Step history remains in Apple Health and can be managed there.
